Terms of use for employer |
|
1. Agreement
These terms and conditions (the "Agreement") set out under what conditions Employment.com.sg.
with Registered Office at 111 North Bridge Road, #11-04 Peninsula Plaza, Singapore
179098, shall provide, and enable registered access to a person or entity with an
interest in employing for the purpose of paid:
- displaying and publicising of advertising material,
hereinafter "Placement" of offers of employment
- searching through posted CVs/Resumes.
2. Contract Agreement
This Agreement shall enter into force and become effective at the moment of confirmation
of total acceptance of the texts contained in the provisions herein from the side
of the specific User, by the reading the Terms and Conditions. The User is hereby
advised that without such express agreement with the entire wording of these general
contractual conditions he shall not have authorised registered access to the Web
Portal of Employment.com.sg
3. Authorised Parties
- The rights and obligations as per this Agreement
are applicable also to parties who act in the name of the User pursuant to this
Agreement, or on account of the User, whereby the User shall warrant and be liable
for their full performance of obligations to the full extent.
- The User hereby agrees that registered access
to the Web Portal is limited to the individual or entity which received authorisation
for such access (User). The User shall not be authorised to provide registered access
to third parties and shall be accountable for all damages incurred by Employment.com.sg,
or third parties as the case may be, arising as a result of unauthorised distribution
of the registered access password.
4. The abuse / damage of rights
- The User hereby represents, warrants and undertakes
to Employment.com.sg, that the Advertisement fraud, misrepresentation, product liability,
defamation, contempt, misuse of personal data, breach of basic human rights, intentionally
false claims, acts against good morals, promotion of aggression, vulgarity, sexuality
etc.
- The User hereby represents, warrants and undertakes
to Employment.com.sg, that all materials posted for use to the Web Site shall not
contain any viruses, worms, Trojan horses or any other destructive properties.
- The User hereby represents, warrants and undertakes
to Employment.com.sg that all materials posted for use to the Web Portal shall not
contain any untruthful, deceptive, incorrect and non-updated data, which do not
correspond to facts, or data incompatible with the purpose of this Agreement.
- The User hereby confirms that he voluntarily
consents, at his own liability, to the publicising of all data and particulars,
via the Advertisement (including all contents referred to by links) on the Web Portal,
with such for the purpose pursuant to this Agreement.
5. Confidentiality
- Pursuant to the provisions of this Agreement,
Employment.com.sg hereby confirms to the User that it shall maintain confidentiality
about all information and personal data submitted by the User.
- The User hereby undertakes to protect his user
access name and password to the Web Portal against disclosure, and to prevent third
parties from acquiring such.
6. Instructions
The User hereby confirms that he has been fully
informed, is aware about his rights and obligations pursuant to manipulation with
personal data in information systems, the rights and obligations pursuant to industrial
protection and the protection of personal rights.
7. Advertisement
All Advertisements that are already posted by the
user, it is subjected to charges if user requested any changes to the advertisement.
8. Searching
The Customer shall be entitled, at anytime during the Term for which it has registered
access, to search through all CVs/Resumes posted on the Web Portal. Employment.com.sg
shall not be liabile for the contents of CVs/Resumes posted on the Web Portal.
9. Payment Conditions
- The Customer shall pay Employment.com.sg all
amounts as per the current price list of Employment.com.sg, as amended from time
to time, at the rates and in the manner specified therein. The current list of prices
shall be accessible on the Web Portal and shall constitute part of this Agreement.
- All payments shall be settled by cheques make
payable to Employment.com.sg, also indicate the Company name and Job ref. no. at
the back of the cheque, and send it to the following mailing address :

- In the event that the Customer does not pay
the fee to Employment.com.sg or does not completely enter all essential registration
details, Employment.com.sg shall be entitled to block the registered access of the
Customer to the Web Portal.
- Payment shall be regarded as having transpired
once the pertinent amount is credited to the account of Employment.com.sg.
- Settled fees are non-refundable regardless
of whether or not the Customer utilises the service provided by Employment.com.sg.
The fact that the Customer, throughout the Term and for whatever reason, did not
apply his right to registered access to the Web Portal, or did so only in part,
shall not render the Customer the right to claim a refund of the fee, either in
full or in part.
- Employment.com.sg shall be entiled to change
the fee rates for use of the Web Portal, including the introduction of new or increased
rates for registered access to the Web Portal, or services pursuant to the Web Portal,
by way of notice which Employment.com.sg shall publicise via the Web Portal. The
price list valid on the day payment is rendered shall be applicable for the Customer.
